Courage

Every person possesses some level of courage. What does it mean to have courage? Courage originates from a French word, courage. It means from or of the Heart. It is our willingness to do what our hearts tell us are the right things to do for our self, family, company, and society.

Conversations with people lead us to believe that every individual desires to work and live in environments where they are respectfully able to share their thoughts, give constructive feedback about what is and isn't working, and to apply their skills, especially in the area of communication - listening, constructive feedback, and conflict resolution with the goal of making things better for everyone in the workplace. Often, being able to do so not only takes an environment that allows one to do this, it takes COURAGE!

Because people can gain courage, it is a favorite topic we like to share with intact groups or in our Leading With Impact leadership development series. Why? We can share numerous tools with people like yourself, to help you grow and develop, yet the challenge is you having the courage to "try out" your new skills. We have watched numerous people give themselves a courage boost and feel freedom as a result of it! Call us to learn more about how you can learn the approximate amount of courage that exists within your organization.
